BACKDATING POLICIES:
Maximum of 60 days
Backdating requires 60 days of Premium (for example, backdating 15 days would mean their next payment is due in 45 days)
Requirements:
1. 60 Days of Premium
2. Copy of Valid DL for ALL DRIVERS
2. Copy of Valid Registration (All Registered Owners MUST BE WRITTEN on policy)
3. Physical Damage (Comp/Coll) requires visual inspection PRIOR TO BINDING (at TCF office)
UNACCEPTABLE VEHICLES:
- The following makes and models are unacceptable:
- Alpha Romeo
- Any vehicle in excess of ¾ ton load capacity
- Corvette
- Ferrari
- Fiat
- Ford Transit
- Jaguar
- Maserati
- Peugeot
- Porsche
- TVR
- No comprehensive and collision coverage on vehicles two model years and newer with a symbol greater than 30 or vehicles three model years and older with a symbol greater than
- No comprehensive and collision coverage on vehicles older than 20 model
- No comprehensive and collision coverage on vehicles with a value in excess of $25,000.
- No surcharged vehicles or performance rated vehicles by ISO with a symbol greater than 25 (2010 and prior model years) or 40 (2011+ model years).
- No comprehensive or collision coverage on surcharged or sports or premium performance rated vehicles.
- Trucks with more than four wheels, such as “Dually” pickup trucks.
- Any vehicle not owned or co-owned by the applicant or a rated operator on the policy (no insurable interest).
- Vehicles titled as salvage, prior salvage, rebuilt or unrebuildable are acceptable for liability coverage
- Any vehicle that is garaged away from the policy address for a substantial part of the time (i.e. risks driving extensively out of Nevada) including students garaging a policy vehicle at out of state
- Vehicles used in ride sharing services including, but not limited to, Uber and
- Vehicles used for emergency, delivery (including pizza), messenger service, livery, limousine, taxi service, or drivers for hire, including vehicles used to haul nursery or school children, migrant workers, hotel/motel guests, parishioners, patients, or people paying a fare,
- Vehicles used for a courier or escort
- Commercial vehicles or any vehicle owned by, leased, titled or registered to a corporation, partnership or in any company’s name.
- Any vehicle with a logo or
- Vehicles equipped for snow
- Vehicles used for racing, speed contests or
- Any vehicle rented or leased for a term of less than six
- Any vehicle which is rented, loaned or otherwise leased to another operator on a regular
- Any vehicle with more or less than four wheels
- Any vehicle with raised or lowered
- Amphibious vehicles, dune buggies, motorcycles, scooters, motor homes, travel trailers, or kit cars.
- Any vehicle described as antique, classic, collectors, custom, electric, exotic, rare, replica, show or limited production.
- Any vehicle with an aluminum, stainless steel, or fiberglass
- Any vehicle substantially modified in appearance or
- Grey market vehicles or other vehicles manufactured overseas that are not built to US pollution and safety
- Motor homes
